Recently, THE LANCET Infectious Diseases published a review on the Bornavirus BoDV-1, for which Prof. Dr. Dennis Tappe and I had jointly developed an illustration.
The presumed cycles and transmission routes of BoDV-1 in shrews, horses and humans were shown. However, the final illustration was changed by the authors, so that the drawing shown here differs slightly from the published version. This version can be viewed free of charge on LANCET INF DIS.
